Parents, we have seen an increase in toys being called fidgets used during class time. Fidgets are not allowed in class unless it has been provided by a staff member to support academic success.
Parents, we need your support to make Houck a distraction free learning environment. Staff will confiscate ALL electronics that are actively in use starting at 8:10. The confiscated item will remain in a locked cabinet in the attendance office until the end of the school day.
We had our second elimination battle today. It was a real nail biter. All 3 teams did an amazing job. However, the team that will represent us at the District Battle will be Hakuna Matata. Houck's Leadership class will once again be competing in the District 1000 Soles Collection Drive. Schools are collecting gently-used shoes of all sizes to distribute to homeless students. Contact Maleah Haugen if you have questions.
